Red Velvet Cheesecake Brownies


Hi there! It is Kelly from straightforward and I am back with a treat recipe that is yummy! If computers had sniff and scratch skills because the odor of those velvet cheesecake brownies baking in the oven could make your mouth water. But because they're really simple to create, you can whip up a batch on your kitchen!




Hearing cheesecake and the words velvet in 1 recipe had me because I am all about easy and fast recipes such as those No Bake Strawberry Cheesecake Bites. Never in my life have I attempted making velvet anything, but after reading a couple of times, it became obvious that these brownies were a whole lot easier than the title made them look.

Ingredients

Brownie Batter

  1. 2 eggs
  2. Extract
  3. ⅛ tsp salt
  4. 3/4 tsp vinegar
  5. 3/4 cup flour
  6. Cheesecake Filling
  7. 8 oz cream cheese
  8. 1 egg yolk
  9. 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Beat the 2 eggs in bowl, set aside.
  2. Melt butter.
  3. Combine with salt, vanilla extract, cocoa powder, sugar, food coloring, and vinegar.
  4. Fold in bread, combine but don't over-mix.
  5. Pour batter into pan, leaving a bit extra.
  6. Blend sugar, the cream cheese, egg yolk, and vanilla in bowl with hand mixer.
  7. Spoon dollops of the cheesecake filling along with the batter in the pan.
  8. Pour on top of both layers.
  9. With a butter knife, then begin at the peak of the pan and then proceed throughout cheesecake and then the batter filling from side to side throughout the pan. As soon as you've gone to side down all of the way, change directions and go down and up.
  10. They're done when a toothpick poked in the centre comes out clean.
  11. Cool thoroughly before cutting into squares.
