No Bake Peanut Butter Cheesecake


Once I started getting to cooking & baking and was a teen, I did not know the purpose of desserts. Or putting in a little work?

Fast forward a couple of years (I am using the word loosely here) -- and now that I have a couple more things to do on my weekends compared to lounging on the sofa watching reruns on TLC.



So shocker -- I adore and know recipes. Because sometimes you do not have an hour to sit home and await your cheesecake. And occasionally you've got a couple more things in life to worry about than your cheesecake's water tub....

Prep Time : 15 mins

Overall Time : 4 hrs

This butter has creamy peanut butter taste, an Oreo cookie crust, and Reese's peanut butter cups. Simple and just 15 minutes to create!

Course: Dessert

Ingredients

  1. For your Oreo Crust
  2. For your Cheesecake Layer
  3. 20 ounce cream cheese
  4. 1 bag mini peanut butter cups

Directions

  1. Press the mixture into the base of the pan that is ready.
  2. Beat the cream until stiff peaks form.
  3. In a separate bowl beat the cream cheese. Beat in the cream.
  4. Cover and chill in the refrigerator to permit the cheesecake.
  5. Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave 30 second bursts when ready to serve.
  6. Remove in the refrigerator. Trace around the surface of the cake using a sharp knife, then unclamp the pan. Cut to pieces and top each.

Recipe Notes

Store leftovers in the refrigerator in an airtight container.
